Description	:	On Dec 24, 1921 after twenty years of marriage, Sarah Muhuldia "Huldia" Baker's husband, Lorenzo Daw Baker, died at the age of 52 of pneumonia at their home in St. Joe, AR. Huldia and Daw's son, Troy, had died one month earlier on Nov 24, also of pneumonia. In the bedroom across the hall her youngest child, William Houston "Hugh", was suffering from pneumonia. Sarah was told by the doctor that if Hugh was to be told of his father and brother's passing, he might go into shock and also pass away. Huldia chose to not tell Hugh and went... Huldia chose to not tell Hugh and went back and forth between the bedrooms nursing her dying husband and son, but keeping a smiling face when she came into Hugh's room. Huldia buried both her husband and oldest son, but Hugh was too sick to know. Finally, in February 1921 Hugh began to get better and went on to make a full recovery. But, his father and brother were gone. The other brothers and sister had left home, so it was just Hugh and his mother to farm the acres of land left to them."
