Description	:	Former Lawrence resident Loretta A. Ostdiek, 92, died Sept. 10, at Community Care of Blue Hill. Services were at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lawrence. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery east of Lawrence. Merten-Butler Mortuary of Blue Hill was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ostdiek was born Nov. 9, 1904, to Frank and Frances (Wenzinger) Britten in Guide Rock. She graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1922. She taught in rural schools for many years. Survivors are her husband; two sons, La Verne, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Ronald, Blue Hill; one daughter, Dolores Morrison, Howells; two sisters, Mary Hipsher, Longmont, Colo., and Clara McCaffrey, Overland Park; one brother, Elmer Britten, Superior; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
