Madison, Iowa, June 18, 1944, aged 70 years, 3 months and 18 days. On October 7, 1893, she was united in marriage with Edwin C. Mankin. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bonaparte Methodist church, Rev. E. E. Niederhuth officiating, with interment in Vale cemetery. Those from a distance attending the funeral are Mrs. Alice McCoy, Mr. and Mrs. Verne Shaske, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Poling of Ft. Madison, and George B. McComb.
