She was born in Shield, N.D., on Dec. 13, 1937, to Mike Frize and Mary Fleck Frize. She was known to her eight sisters and four brothers as "Toots." Read More	Loretta Mary Frize DeGlopper, 72, of Miles City passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in the hospital. She was born in Shield, N.D., on Dec. 13, 1937, to Mike Frize and Mary Fleck Frize. She was known to her eight sisters and four brothers as "Toots." She started working at a young age, washing dishes at the Log Cabin Café. Later she worked as a waitress and later retired with the title of the Kings Janitor. Although to those who knew her, the majority of her life's work was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She and Rodney Schrock were married in Michigan in 1954. This union brought six children: a daughter, Mary Jane (Richard) of Martinsville, Ind.; a son, Edward (Tammi) Schrock of Kingston, Wash.; a daughter, Debra Schrock of Dothan, Ala.; a daughter, Susan (Danny) South of South Villa Rica, Ga.; a son, Dale Schrock of Ely, Nev.; and a daughter, Linda Schrock of Miles City. The couple later divorced. On March 10, 1969, she and Warren DeGlopper were married in Wyoming. To this union Mr. DeGlopper brought three children, Penny, Gail and Warren Jr., all of Nebraska. Later Mr. and Mrs. DeGlopper adopted their granddaughter, Dawn (Timothy) Meyer of Missoula. Mrs. DeGlopper was a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan. She also would not miss an episode of "The Young and The Restless" for anyone or anything. Mrs. DeGlopper enjoyed embroidery, flowers, gardening, bowling, playing cards, word searches and watching football. Her true loves were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by six sisters, three brothers, all of her children, her step-children and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. DeGlopper also is survived by two very special friends, Greg and Martha. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Warren; her sisters, Katie and Caroline; her brother, Carl; her granddaughter, Macy; and her special friend, Becky. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be Monday, April 20, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment followed in the Custer County Cemetery.
