Loretta worked the greatest share of her life at Burlington Northern Trucking Lines. She married Raymond Gallagher, the love of her life, in 1982. She enjoyed needle crafts, playing cards, and especially loved working in her yard and garden. Read More	Loretta Mary Gallagher, 88, passed away in Billings, on April 24, 2012. Loretta was born on June 1, 1923, in Richardton, N.D., to John and Katherine (Mischel) Palm. Loretta worked the greatest share of her life at Burlington Northern Trucking Lines. She married Raymond Gallagher, the love of her life, in 1982. She enjoyed needle crafts, playing cards, and especially loved working in her yard and garden. Loretta owned and managed several rental properties throughout her life and did a little carpentry work when needed. For her, travel was a passion and she was able to see most of the world. She will be remembered most for her strong work ethic and generosity to family and friends. In the last year of her life, the staff at Aspen Meadows Assisted Living became her family and worked tirelessly to make her remaining days pleasant. Thank you. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Jacob, John Jr. and William. Loretta is survived by her son, Randal; her daughter, Janet Apedaile; and her granddaughter, Debra McClure. She is also survived by her sisters, Lorraine Schoer and Kathy Marsh. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 1, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at Cremation & Funeral Gallery, 29 8th Street West. In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to Aspen Meadows Assisted Living, 3155 Avenue C, Billings, MT 59102. Funeral arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
