Description	:	Loretta (Roberts) Ricker Smith, 67, moved from her home at York Circle in Johnson City to her march in Heaven. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Timothy and Missouri McKinney Roberts. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was of the Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Roberts, a sister, Rita Austin, a loving sister-in-law, Farelene Roberts, and two special aunts, Viola McKinney and Beatrice Byrd. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Robert "Smiley" Smith; a devoted and loving son, Tim Ricker; two adorable loving precious grandchildren, Chelcie and Stone Ricker, all of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Gary Ostrander of California; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Sandra Roberts of Hampton and Elmer Ray and Dorothy Roberts of Unicoi; and two loving uncles, Leonard McKinney of Johnson City and Clifford "Berry" Roberts of North Carolina. Loretta said that all of her family was loving and special, and even on the worst days, they could make her laugh. A funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Bernie Jones and Rev. L.D. Berry officiating. Music will be under the direction of "A Few Among the Few." The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, in the Rittertown Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Scott Roberts, Alfred Humphrey, Dino Austin, Robert Humphrey, Dewane Humphrey, Buck Humphrey and Robert Scalf. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday.
