Loretta was born February 1, 1942 in Holyoke to Augusta and Otto Krueger. She attended school in Amherst and Holyoke, graduating from Holyoke High School in 1960. On August 21, 1960, Loretta married Gary Cranwell in Holyoke. They made their home in Grant, NE from 1960 to 1967. They moved to Broken Bow, NE in 1967, where they owned and operated Cranwell Plumbing and Heating. Loretta worked approximately 20 years for the Broken Bow Schools in the food service program. Loretta was born February 1, 1942 in Holyoke to Augusta and Otto Krueger. She attended school in Amherst and Holyoke, graduating from Holyoke High School in 1960. On August 21, 1960, Loretta married Gary Cranwell in Holyoke. They made their home in Grant, NE from 1960 to 1967. They moved to Broken Bow, NE in 1967, where they owned and operated Cranwell Plumbing and Heating. Loretta worked approximately 20 years for the Broken Bow Schools in the food service program. Loretta loved her time spent with her grandchildren and was an avid gardener. She was a member of the Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Broken Bow, NE, the Broken Bow Fire Department Auxiliary and the Broken Bow Jaycees Auxiliary. Loretta is survived by her Husband Gary Cranwell of Broken Bow, NE; son Craig and wife Joyce of Sumner, NE; two daughters, Robyn and husband Chris Patton of Phillipsburg, KS, and Donica and husband Jeff Williams of Gothenburg, NE; four grandchildren; brother Leroy Krueger of Holyoke; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Funeral services were held Monday, September 13 at the Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, NE with Vicar Bruce Freeman officiating.
