Description	:	Lorine Hannah Mueller, 97, lived most of her life in Columbus, Nebraska, and most recently in Wichita, Kansas, for the past 2 ½ years, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, February 6th, 2017, at Chisholm Place, Wichita, Kansas. Services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 10:30 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus with the Rev. Patrick R. Sparling officiating. Interment will be at the Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus with lunch at Immanuel Lutheran to follow. Read More	Lorine Hannah Mueller, 97, lived most of her life in Columbus, Nebraska, and most recently in Wichita, Kansas, for the past 2 ½ years, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, February 6th, 2017, at Chisholm Place, Wichita, Kansas. Lorine was born January 22, 1920, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Ernst and Katherine Nuetzman. She had one sibling, her younger brother, Raymond. She graduated from Kramer School in 1938 and later graduated from Van Sant School of Business in Omaha, Nebraska, earning her diploma January 30, 1942. On February 15, 1942, Lorine was united in marriage to Casper Mueller at the First Methodist Church in Columbus. After their marriage Lorine worked for a short time at the Columbus Sales Pavilion. Lorine then served a major role in helping with the many duties associated with the family dairy business. Lorine was active in her community and served on the Immanuel Lutheran Ladies Aide, a local Country Aide group as well as numerous 4-H groups. Casper and Lorine were awarded the “Outstanding Senior Farmer Award” by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce in 1988. Lorine was a kind person who never knew a stranger. She cared for her parents as well as Casper’s parents and in the 1980’s when Casper’s health started to fail Lorine cared for him and his wellbeing. Lorine loved to garden, can produce, sew, and cook for the working farm crew and family gatherings. Lorine loved children and was able to know her great grandson. Lorine is survived by: Daughter: Margo (Mueller) Loop of Wichita, KS Son: Gary Mueller of St Charles, MO Grandsons: Paul Mueller of Columbus, NE, and Sam Mueller of St Charles, MO Granddaughters: Kelsey (Loop) Kennemer of Edmond, OK; Sadie (Mueller) Saffo of St Peters, MO; Samantha Mueller of Columbus, NE; and Meryl Loop of Wichita, KS Great Grandson: Marsten Kennemer Lorine is preceded in death by: Parents: Ernst and Katherine Nuetzman Husband: Casper Mueller Son: Randolph Mueller Brother: Raymond Nuetzman
