Description	:	Lorine M. McGillvrey, 85, of Wolsey, died Friday, Sept. 6, 1996 at the Huron Nursing Home. The funeral was held Sept. 9 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wolsey, with the Rev. Timothy Rynearson officiating. The hymns, "How Great Thou Art" and "The Old Rugged Cross" were sung by soloist Robert "Dutch" Meyer. The organist was Genevieve Kahre. Lorine Marjorie Christopherson was born Nov. 19, 1910, to Martin and Charlotte (Langbehn) Christopherson at Wolsey. She graduated from Wolsey High School in 1929. In 1932, she married Laurn McGillvrey at Wolsey. They lived in Wolsey, and she worked at St. John's Hospital in Huron for 21 years. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran church in Wolsey. She is survived by a son, Dean (Donna) of Wolsey; three daughters, JoAnne (Robert) Marshall of Arnold, Md., Jacqueline (Raymond) Jager of Huron, and Marjorie (Max) VanDenBerg of Meridian, Idaho; 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil (Ruth) Christopherson of Lodi, Calif., and Homer Christopherson of Roswell; two sisters, Lois (Frank) Harder of Wolsey and Glenace (Bruce) Meyer of Dewey, Ariz., and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbnad in 1946; seven brothers, Tillman, Alvah, Delbert, Ross, Arnold and Maurice Christopherson, and Abner in infancy; a sister, Edna Peterson; and a grandchild.
