He is survived by his wife, Edna; two sons, Paul and his wife, Sherri, and Clifford, both of Canal; one daughter, Nancy, Mrs. Mike Shields of Texas; four grandchildren, Jeff, Natasha, Sue Janes and Nicholas Janes; one brother, Dwight and his wife, Linda of Bonny River; one sister-in-law, Pearl Kinney of Bonny River; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lorne was predeceased by four brothers, Daryll, Norman, John, and Keith. Lorne was a self-employed woodsman. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Presbyterian Kirk in St. George. At Lorne’s request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church in St. George on Thursday at 2:00 PM. Interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. In his memory, donations to St. Mark’s Anglican Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
