Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, at Faith Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Wes Aardahl officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center Chapel and from 4 to 8 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home, Mandan. She was raised and educated in Golden Valley. On April 21, 1950, she married Edward Allmendinger in Halliday. He passed away in 1996. Lorraine was employed as a cook, housekeeper and clerical worker. She was a great mom and friend and will be deeply missed. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Betty and Edgar Binder, Bismarck, and Sara Hencke, Cleburne, Texas; one stepdaughter, Mary Ann and Sam Spier, Dunnellon, Fla.; one son, Bill and Laurie, Papillion, Neb.; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Delmar Dschaak, Beulah; one brother, Robert Raab, Dickinson; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Larry; one grandson, David Spier; one brother, Alvin; and one sister, Irma Vogel. (Perry Funeral Home, Mandan)
