Born February 4, 1914 in Moline, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hattie (Schatz) Frommader. Her husband, Bruce Lease, preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister and a brother. Mrs. Lease is survived by three daughters, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She lived many years in Davenport, Iowa, where she had a career as a photographic colorist; her work in heavy oils received recognition and awards. Art... Read More	Obituary: Lorraine N. Lease, 94, a resident of the Moravian Manor, Lititz, PA died February 5, 2008. Born February 4, 1914 in Moline, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hattie (Schatz) Frommader. Her husband, Bruce Lease, preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister and a brother. Mrs. Lease is survived by three daughters, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She lived many years in Davenport, Iowa, where she had a career as a photographic colorist; her work in heavy oils received recognition and awards. Art was a life-long activity which she continued after moving to Lancaster in 1989. She exhibited her watercolor paintings at the Lancaster Art Association where she had been a member. For many years she was a Red Cross volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport and then at the Lancaster General Hospital. She attended the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster and for several years sang in its choir. Mrs. Lease was an enthusiastic participant in aquarobics at the YMCA, was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards and loved crossword puzzles and word games. Memorial Services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster, 538 W.
