Read More	Lorraine Rose Hansen was born to Frank & Rose (Stehlik) Vlcek on February 7, 1929, on a farm near Pleasant Dale, Nebraska, and passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Heritage Crossings in Geneva, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 3 months, and 8 days. She was one of 3 children born in the family. Lorraine grew up on a farm near Cordova, Nebraska. She graduated from Cordova High School with the class of 1946 and was the Valedictorian of her class. On June 25, 1948, Lorraine was united in marriage to Woodrow Hansen of Cordova. After marriage, they lived in Cordova and raised 5 children together. Lorraine started working at the Cordova Co-Op Association Bank and remained there for 34 years. She also served as the town Treasurer for the City of Cordova for 45 years. Lorraine took up oil painting and painted along with Bob Ross from 1989 to 1993. She thoroughly enjoyed her oil painting. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Rose; husband Woodrow; son-in-law Larry Roush; brother Robert Vlcek; and sisters-in-law Beverly Vlcek and Gladys Vlcek. She is survived by her children Ava Roush, Beth & husband Dwayne Dinneen , Cheri & husband Willard Beck, Charles & wife Debra Hansen and Jeffrey & wife Angela Hansen; brother Norman Vlcek; 10 grandchildren; 9 great -grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 2 step-grandchildren, and 5 step-great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service for Lorraine will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Farmer Funeral Home in Exeter. Kim Dunker will officiate the service. A Graveside Service will take place in the Zastrow Cemetery following the Funeral Service. Contributor: M.
