Honorary pallbearers will be Deanna's grandchildren: Natasha Krause, Jessica Krause, Aaron Krause, Travis Krause, Dakota Clark, Zea Kruse and Kora Kruse. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Krause, Casey Krause, Chuck Hoelscher, Marc Hoelscher, Bryan Krause and Nelson Bauer. Deanna was born on April 9, 1939, in Rock Rapids, IA, to Walter and Lottie (Krise) Hoelscher. At age five, they moved to Lennox, SD. She graduated from Lennox High School in 1957 and attended Stewarts School of Hairstyling in Sioux Falls. On July 11, 1959, Deanna married Dennis Krause in Watertown. The couple lived in Watertown, where Deanna owned and operated Dee's Hair Salon. She worked at Jenkins Living Center as an aide and then worked at Minnesota Rubber for over 30 years. She retired in 2007 and continued to make her home in Watertown. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies' Auxiliary in Watertown. Deanna enjoyed cooking and baking, playing Bingo and Yahtzee, tending to her flower garden and spending time with her grandchildren. She especially liked the family holiday get-togethers. Deanna is survived by her three sons: Daniel (Maria) Krause of Watertown, Rodney (Tracey) Krause of Sioux Falls and Michael (Stacey) Krause of Watertown; two daughters: Sheryl Krause of Watertown and Michele (Tim) Kruse of Watertown; nine grandchildren; two brothers: Dean Hoelscher of Pierre, SD, and Dennis (Marilyn) Hoelscher of Rapid City, SD; one sister-in-law, Augusta Krause; a special niece, Judy Phipps; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, and her parents.
