Dr. Bill Hunter officiating. Mrs. Ayres was born June 7, 1912, to Orlana "John" and Lillie (Whitmore) Harris near Campbell. She grew up in the Campbell and Norman areas. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors are one son, Robert of Holdrege; one daughter, Carol L'Heureux of Lakewood, Calif.; three sisters, Anna Larson of Arleta, Calif., Viola Geist of Wichita, Kan., and Norma Emal of Minden; one brother, Kenny Harris of Wichita; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by four brothers.
