Description	:	Funeral service for Marjorie (Cass) Marrs will be 10 a.m., Mon., Aug. 17, at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Keely officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m., at Gracelawn Cemetery, Howard, KS, under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. The daughter of Burnie Cecil and Emma (Fear) Cass was born May 18, 1917, in Howard, KS. Marge attended elementary school at Pleasant Hill School, a small country school by Howard, KS. She started high school at the age of 21in Fall River, KS, and graduated at the age of 24. On May 23, 1948, Marge married Donald "Wayne" Marrs. They made their home in Neodesha, KS, until 1979 when they moved to Grand Lake where they owned and operated Marrs Marine. Marge also worked many years as an accountant, bookkeeper, and administrator for Low Income Housing. She worked for H&R Block for 10 years, and was self-employed for 7 years doing taxes. They moved to Claremore in 1999, and were members of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Marge enjoyed playing cards, playing games (especially bingo), working jigsaw puzzles, eating out, playing piano, and going to church. Marge is survived by her son, Wayne "Holden" Marrs and wife, Roxie of Verdigris; granddaughter, Kendra Marrs of Tulsa; and grandson, Nathan Marrs and wife, Corey of Tulsa. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 4 brothers. __________________________________________________ Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Mon., Aug. 17, 2009, at Rehoboth Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., at Gracelawn Cemetery, Howard, KS. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sun. 1-6 p.m., and family will greet friends 4-6 p.m.
