Read More	OBITUARY: Appeared in unknown newspaper, Life Story of Lou Dana Johnson--Lou Dana Johnson, daughter of John and Lusetta Groves, was born at Union Mills on January 27, 1894 and passed away at Newton on September 25, at the age of 74 years, and eight months. On December 1, 1912 she was united in marriage to Herbert LeRoy Johnson at Union Mills. He passed away on July 7, 1960. The couple resided on a farm north of New Sharon for four years then moved to a farm at Monroe in 1917. After Herberts death she moved to Newton in 1963. She was a member of the Union Mills Christian Church and theIdeal Hour Neighborhood Club. Three daughters were born to this union. Mrs. Max (Mildred) Andeweg of LaCrescenta, Calif., Mrs. David (Marvelle) Jones of Baxter and Mrs. Laurel (Eloise) Dykstra of Monroe. Those surviving in addition to the three daughters include her brothers, Miles Groves and Bill of New Sharon, and Shanon Groves of Rose Hill. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday in the Monroe Methodist Church. Burial was in the U nion Mills Cemetery in New Sharon. Pallbearers were Donald Wood, Herbert Dykstra, Robert Burk, Ordelle Birkenholz, Francis Birkenholz, and Gene Buckley.
