| Description | : | Lou Ida Pearson, the daughter of William Willie and Sinthia Elizabeth I. Crow, was one of seven children. She was born in Reaser, Mississippi just before her parents migrated west to Centerville, Arkansas. Her father's family roots were in South Carolina, while her mother's family came from Alabama. Her parents married on October 18, 1860 in Itawamba, Mississippi. Several of Lou Ida's siblings were also born in Mississippi.
