Description	:	Louella Marie Amundson, daughter of John and Louise (Onnen) Amundson, was born July 10, 1915, at Westfield, Iowa, where she grew up and received her schooling. Following her schooling, Louella worked in homes for various families in the Westfield area. On October 12, 1940, she was united in marriage to John Mount in Dakota City, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Lyons, Nebraska area, where they farmed for the next 10 years, before moving to the Chokio/Alberta, Minnesota area in 1951. Read More	Louella Marie Amundson, daughter of John and Louise (Onnen) Amundson, was born July 10, 1915, at Westfield, Iowa, where she grew up and received her schooling. Following her schooling, Louella worked in homes for various families in the Westfield area. On October 12, 1940, she was united in marriage to John Mount in Dakota City, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Lyons, Nebraska area, where they farmed for the next 10 years, before moving to the Chokio/Alberta, Minnesota area in 1951. They farmed in that area until retiring in 1978. In September 1994, they moved from the farm to their current home Chokio. Some of Louella's favorite hobbies included sewing, crocheting, knitting, and reading. Mrs. Mount died Thursday, March 27, 1997, at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris, Minnesota, having lived to reach the age of 81 years. She is survived by her husband: John Mount of Chokio, one daughter: Shirlee Mount; one son; John M. (Barbara) Mount; three grandchildren; Lisa Buhs, Mike (Frances) Mount, and Kim (Jeff) Hauersperger, four great-grandchildren: Johnny Mount, Katrina Mount, Austin Hauersperger and Brandon Hauersperger and two sisters: Dorothy (Manuel) Mount, and Margaret (Ralph) Mesick. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Oscar, Clarence, Edward and Ralph Amundson.
