Description	:	Louis Alexander Wright was born on March 5, 1920 in rural Linn County near Toddville, Iowa, son of Willard Lewis and Sarah Elnora (Morris) Wright. He attended rural country school in Linn County and in Jones County. After graduation from 8th grade, Louis started farming because of illness of his father, taking over the family farm. He loved raising hogs and Black Angus calves. In 1960, when his father retired, Louis joined in partnership with his sister, Gladys and they farmed until Louis retired in 1982. Read More	Louis Alexander Wright was born on March 5, 1920 in rural Linn County near Toddville, Iowa, son of Willard Lewis and Sarah Elnora (Morris) Wright. He attended rural country school in Linn County and in Jones County. After graduation from 8th grade, Louis started farming because of illness of his father, taking over the family farm. He loved raising hogs and Black Angus calves. In 1960, when his father retired, Louis joined in partnership with his sister, Gladys and they farmed until Louis retired in 1982. He was a member of Wyoming United Methodist Church. As a young man, he loved playing baseball and softball. In later years he liked gardening, and was a great St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan and loved watching baseball games. He is survived by 2 sisters, Dorothy Denison, Lisbon, and Gladys Wright, Wyoming; 2 brothers, Raymond Wright, Hiawatha and Donald (Shirley) Wright, Wyoming, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mildred Luckstedt, a sister-in-law, Bella Wright, brothers-in-law, Walter Denison and Clarence Luckstedt and a niece, Betty Ann Walstrom. Louis A. Wright of Wyoming died Monday, October 16, 2006, at the Anamosa Care Center, Anamosa, at the age of 86 years.
