Description	:	Louis Anderson was born in Olive township Dec 26, 1882. He moved to Grand Mound in 1908 and he with Geo B. Smith started the Grand Mound livery barn. They continued this business for three years when they sold out. Louis then stated to work for contractor William Ehlers, having been a faithful employee of Mr. Ehlers' at the time of his death. He was married to Miss Ida Anderson in 1912, who with four children, Lyle, Margaret, Dorothy and Alice are left to mourn the loss of a faithful husband and father. He also leaves to mourn his loss... Read More	Louis Anderson was born in Olive township Dec 26, 1882. He moved to Grand Mound in 1908 and he with Geo B. Smith started the Grand Mound livery barn. They continued this business for three years when they sold out. Louis then stated to work for contractor William Ehlers, having been a faithful employee of Mr. Ehlers' at the time of his death. He was married to Miss Ida Anderson in 1912, who with four children, Lyle, Margaret, Dorothy and Alice are left to mourn the loss of a faithful husband and father. He also leaves to mourn his loss his parents Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Anderson, five sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Peter J. Peterson of Fairmount, Minn., Mrs. L. E. Dosland of Grand Mound, Mrs. A Sanborn of Calamus, Mrs. Clara Petersen and Hanna all at home, Daniel, Peter and Adolph all of Grand Mound. Mr. Anderson was taken sick on Wednesday of last week and died March 29 at 6:30 AM. He was a member of the Volunteer Fire Co and also a school director of the Grand Mound school. The fire company attended the funeral in a body. Funeral services were held from the German church Thursday afternoon with Rev. Eschbach officiating. The funeral was largely attended by many friends of the deceased. The following friends acted as pallbearers: George B. Smith, O. T. Olsen, John Bird, Wm. Schunter, G. K. Van Epps and Hans Malmanger. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in this their great loss which is also felt by everyone who has lost a good friend.
