Read More	ELLIOTT MAN DIES MONDAY FUNERAL SERVICES BEING HELD TODAY FOR LOUIS FOX Louis (Lou) Fox a well known and longtime resident of the Elliott community, passed away Monday morning of this week, following a period of decline health . He died at the family home in east Elliott. Louis Fox ws born at Lebanon, Ohio on July 3, 1971 and at his passing had reached the age of 87 years, 4 months, and 28 days. Mr. Fox came to Montgomery County as a young man and there was united in marriage to Cora Jones at Coburg on December 19, 1897. Following their marriage they came to the Elliott community and farmed until retirement. Six children blessed the marriage, four of whom survive the father. Mrs. Fox entered into rest March 28, 1954. Left to mourn his passing are four children, Clyde Fox and Mrs. Elmer Peck of near Elliott, Mrs. Everett Leighton of Griswold, and Mrs. Albert Hoyt of Council Bluffs. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, besides numerous other relatives and friends. Mr. Fox was preceded in death by two daughters, one in 1918 and one in infancy. Funeral services are being held this Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Elliott Methodist Church. The pastor, Rev. Clarence Landis is officiating. Music will be by Mrs. Delbert Peterson accompanied by Mrs. Ellis Reed. The casket bearers will be John Larson, Fred Welsch, Charles Welsch, Delbert Peterson, Hilton Cowley, and Lester Shires. The floral committee will be Mrs. Edna Welsch and Mrs. John Larson. Interment will be made in the Hillside Cemetery, Elliott. He lived in the Elliott community a number of years as a farmer, retiring in 1943. Services were held at the Elliott Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Landis officiating. He passed away on December 3, 1958 at his home in Elliott. He was married to Cora Jones at Coburg in December, 1896. He lived in the Elliott community a number of years as a farmer, retiring in 1943. Services were held at the Elliott Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Landle officiating.
