Description	:	WATERVILLE - Louis Edmond "Junior" DeRosby, 85, died Tues., Aug. 5, 2014 at Inland Hospital in Waterville. Junior was born at home in Waterville on Oct. 3, 1928, son of the late Edmond and Bernadette (Labrie) DeRosby. Ed graduated from Winslow High in 1947. He excelled at many sports and was co-captain of the football team. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1947 to 1952 during the Korean War. Read More	WATERVILLE - Louis Edmond "Junior" DeRosby, 85, died Tues., Aug. 5, 2014 at Inland Hospital in Waterville. Junior was born at home in Waterville on Oct. 3, 1928, son of the late Edmond and Bernadette (Labrie) DeRosby. Ed graduated from Winslow High in 1947. He excelled at many sports and was co-captain of the football team. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1947 to 1952 during the Korean War. He graduated from SMVTI in 1961 as a machinist and was employed at Keyes Fibre Co. for 29 years. Junior was a member of Corpus Christi Parish (Notre Dame Church) for 55 years and a former Eucharistic Minister for 30 years. Ed was an amazing dancer and loved to cut a rug with his darling. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Jeannine Giguere DeRosby; daughter Margaret Mary Pacheco and husband Joseph, of Planto, TX.; son Paul Edmond and wife Rhonda, of Waterville; son Matthew Jules and wife Denise, of Hampden; daughter Anne Marie Bernadette Al-Shikely and husband Mohamed, of London, England; daughter Mary Elizabeth DeRosby and her fiancé, Kristopher Violette, of Fairfield; and Peperes grandchildren, Kathryn Pacheco, Kaysie, Jessop and Rylee DeRosby, Bryce Matthew and Elise Marie DeRobsy, Rashid Louis and Zakariya Edmond Al-Shikely. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be loved and missed by all. Louis was predeceased by sisters, Geraldine Nista, of South Weymouth, MA., and Patricia Gamache, of Winslow. Committal prayers and burial will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St., Waterville. (Morning Sentinel 8/6/2014)
