Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Julie Morgan of Ravenswood; daughter, Melissa Smith and her husband, Mark of Ripley; son Steve Morgan and wife, Angela of Sandyville; stepchildren, Brian Tribett, of Fort Gay, W.Va, Brent Tribett, Fort Gay, Kelli Haynes of Ravenswood, W.Va.; brothers, Charles Keith Morgan and wife, Sandy and John Max Morgan and wife, Dottie, all of Sandyville; step mother, Fenia Morgan, Ravenswood, W.Va.; step brothers, Dwayne Riggs, Devon Riggs, both of Sandyville, and Gerald Riggs and wife, Helen of Ripley, Dr. Richard Blackburn and wife Susie and Joe Jelich and wife Rhonda, both of Ravenswood; grandchildren, Matt and Mitch Smith, Emily, Chase, Chance Morgan; step grandchildren, Samatha, Tabitha and Tiffany Good, who were raised by Lou and Julie Morgan, Brianna Tandi and Brooke Tribett; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce; and step father Carl Riggs. Memorial service will be Thursday, 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood. Friends may visit the family at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. time of the service.
