Description	:	PARK CITY - Louis F. Beeler, 83, of Park City, died of natural causes Sunday in Laurel. His funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at the Big Sandy Historical Museum, with burial in Big Sandy Cemetery. Smith Funeral Chapel of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. Beeler, 83, of Park City, died of natural causes Sunday in Laurel. His funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at the Big Sandy Historical Museum, with burial in Big Sandy Cemetery. Smith Funeral Chapel of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. Louis was born in Yakima, Washington on Aug. 26, 1926, to Fred and Louise (Trepina) Beeler. He lived in Washington until 1939, when his family moved to the family farm in the Hopp-Iliad community southeast of Big Sandy. He attended Big Sandy High School and always enjoyed the class reunions. Louis married the love of his life, Ann Fisher, on Dec. 19, 1945. They spent 64 wonderful years together. To this union, four children were born: Gary (Rox-ane) Beeler, Ron (Carol) Beeler, Wayne (Bev) Beeler and Luanne (Rick) Lavold. Louis loved farming and ranching. If it had not been for his injured back, he would still be farming. Louis made the most important decision of his life when he asked Jesus to be Lord of his life in 1974. He liked nothing better than to talk about his Savior with those around him. He enjoyed reading his Bible and daily study with his wife, Ann. Together they hosted Bible study groups in their homes on the farm and in Park City. He retired and moved to the town of Big Sandy in 1989. They moved to Park City in 2005 to be near their daughter. Louis is survived by his wife, Ann; three children; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Louis was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary; a brother, Elmer; and a sister, Hazel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rescue Mission or charity of your choice.
