Description	:	Louis H Armbrecht, a well known farmer in this vicinity, passed away Monday afternoon at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, where he had been since September 17. The cause of death was pyemia. Mr Armbrecht was born near State Center December 11, 1884, and had lived in the county all of his life. He was married on February 11, 1915 to Miss Minnie Bohnsack, also of State Center. Read More	Louis H Armbrecht, a well known farmer in this vicinity, passed away Monday afternoon at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, where he had been since September 17. The cause of death was pyemia. Mr Armbrecht was born near State Center December 11, 1884, and had lived in the county all of his life. He was married on February 11, 1915 to Miss Minnie Bohnsack, also of State Center. For six years Mr Armbrecht served as secretary and manager of the Minerva Valley Creamery Association and following that he took the management of the Farmers Elevator Company in Clemons and continued in that office until 1922, when he engaged in farming at his last home, five miles north of State Center. At the time of his death he was president of the Minerva Valley Creamery Association and was always active in community affairs. Besides his widow he is survived by his mother, Mrs Maria Armbrecht. His father died July 30, 1927, and one child died in infancy. Two children survived him, Dorothy, aged 9 and Hope, aged 7. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Albert Bohnsack, who made his home with him, and three brothers; and three sisters. The latter are William and Miss Frieda Armbrecht of this city; Henry and Herbert Armbrecht and Mrs E L Brackney of Clemons; Mrs Fred Bell of Zearing and Mrs Martin Riese of Colo. Mr Armbrecht was a life member of the St John's Lutheran Church, from which church the funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev H C Keopke in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery. October 11, 1928 State Center Enterprise.
