Description	:	Obituary Louis Jean, son of Arthur and Gladys Cornwell, has passed on. He was born near Mt. Carmel this county, Jan 28, 1916. After a brief illness, he departed this life March 26, 1925, age 9 years and 2 months. An attack of scarlet fever at the time of his father's death five years ago, left him in a weakened physical condition, unable to resist the severe attack of bronchial pneumonia to which he succumbed. An attack of scarlet fever at the time of his father's death five years ago, left him in a weakened physical condition, unable to resist the severe attack of bronchial pneumonia to which he succumbed. Jean was always a serious minded, thoughtful child especially devoted to his mother and little sister, Mary Ellen. He was a great favorite with his teachers and playmates. Loving care, tender nursing availed nothing. Conscious to the last; death held no fear for the brave soul who fought such a good fight. In January he spoke to his mother of joining the church and united with the Weir Memorial Methodist church. God has called him home, to be reunited with the father and baby brother who had gone on five years ago. There will be no more pain, no more suffering, but joy, peace and love. He leaves behind a devoted mother and sister, loving grandparents who had taken him when he was left fatherless and had given him all the care and devotion a child could receive. There are several uncles and aunts and many friends left to feel the loss.
