Read More	The following from Find a Grave contributor "Cara": The Butte Miner (MT), 28 Aug 1909 Prosperous Rancher Is Drowned in Reservoir Great Falls, Aug. 27--Louis Vanden-Heuvel, a well-known and prosperous rancher living in the vicinity of Highwood, was drowned last evening in a Great Norther reservoir about three quarters of a mile from the town of Geyser in the extreme eastern part of Cascade county. Vanden-Heuvel, who was in Geyser on his return after conducting his wife and sick babe to Belt for medical attendance, had gone bathing in the reservoir with John Sanders, his brother-in-law, and two other friends. Vanden-Heuvel was seized with cramps and sank in about 12 feet of water, his companions not knowing of the tragedy until they missed him. The drowning occurred about six o'clock, and the pond was not searched until dark, but the body was not found until search was resumed this afternoon. The body will be brought to this city for burial beside the body of a brother, Joseph Vanden-Heuvel, who committed suicide several months ago in the hotel conducted by his estranged wife at Windham. The drowned man was about 25 (sic.) years of age, and had resided in this vicinity for about 20 years. He leaves a wife and three children. --- Parents: Henry Vanden-Heuvel, b. The drowning took place at the railroad reservoir near Geyser, in which the deceased was bathing.
