Description	:	The Death Record. The Republican. Oakland, MD. Thur., Apr. 17, 1913. Excerpt -- Louisa Ellen DeBerry, who was born April 1, 1846, and died March 31, 1913. She was a daughter of Henry Fredlock, one of eight children, of which five are still living, namely, Jane DeBerry, Anna Pritz, Elvia Ruddell, Emma Browning and Henry N. Fredlock. On March 12, 1865, she was united in marriage to James DeBerry. To this union eight children were born and five are still living; Joseph S. and Gracie E. died in infancy, and Elvia S. died at the age of 18. The living... Read More	The Death Record. She was a daughter of Henry Fredlock, one of eight children, of which five are still living, namely, Jane DeBerry, Anna Pritz, Elvia Ruddell, Emma Browning and Henry N. Fredlock. On March 12, 1865, she was united in marriage to James DeBerry. To this union eight children were born and five are still living; Joseph S. and Gracie E. died in infancy, and Elvia S. died at the age of 18. The living are H. Newton, married Elisie Strawser, and lives at Cuzzart; Jennie, wife of Harry Teets of Hazelton; Norman L., married Rosa Miller, and lives at Glade Farms; Clark M., married Julia Deal, and lives on the home place; J. Allen, married Ella Kidd, and lives at Oakland, Md., where the deceased was at the time of her death. The end came very sudden, she was taken to her bed but one week. The cause of death was heart dropsy. She joined the Brethren church about thirty-five years ago, of which she remained a member until death. Funeral services were held at Forest Dale by Rev. Beeghly after which the remains were laid to rest in the family burying ground at Clark DeBerry's.
