Was married to Amos McColley in 1849, in Indianapolis, Indiana. They resided in Indiana until his death in 1882. By this union they had eleven children, three having passed away. Read More	Plainview Gazette Thursday January 13, 1898 Obituary of Mrs. Amos McColley Louisa Ellen Lovett was born in Marion county, Indiana, in 1830. Was married to Amos McColley in 1849, in Indianapolis, Indiana. They resided in Indiana until his death in 1882. By this union they had eleven children, three having passed away. Mrs. McColley came to Nebraska with her children in 1882, and resided in this state until her death, Jan 2, 1898, at the home of her son, Henry McColley. She united with the Missionary Baptist church in Southport, Indiana. After coming to Nebraska she placed her membership in the Baptist church at Stanton, making her a member of the Baptist church for over forty years. She had four brothers in Indiana one in Kansas. Her oldest brother N.J. Lovett, who resides in Stanton was with her at the last. She has one daughter in Indiana, Five sons and two daughters were with her during her last hours. The funeral took place Friday afternoon at the residence of Henry McColley. Rev. F.C. Park preaching the sermon.
