Description	:	Louisa Emma Henry.—My daughter, Mrs. Louisa Emma Henry, was born in Georgia, June 8th, 1859, and died at her home in Cleveland Co., Ark., October 1st, 1885. She was converted and received into the M. E. Church South, under her father’s ministry, in 1870; was united in holy wedlock to Phillip B. Henry, Dec 12, 1883, with whom she lived most happily until death. Read More	Louisa Emma Henry.—My daughter, Mrs. Louisa Emma Henry, was born in Georgia, June 8th, 1859, and died at her home in Cleveland Co., Ark., October 1st, 1885. She was converted and received into the M. E. Church South, under her father’s ministry, in 1870; was united in holy wedlock to Phillip B. Henry, Dec 12, 1883, with whom she lived most happily until death. My daughter was a Christian from principle, not following after the vain pomp and glory of the world, but denying herself meekly, following the commandments in all Godly sincerity, a most obedient and affectionate daughter and wife. She was enjoying the most perfect health the day before her death. In her beautiful home prepared for her by her loving husband, with promise of a happy life, but expecting to become a mother. She was soon suffering the most excruciating pain incident to motherhood. When I asked her if her trust was in the Lord, she said, “Yes, sir.” Is Christ your Savior?” “Yes, sir.” The after repeated convolutions, I said; “Emma, my daughter, do you feel that you have a home in heaven?” “Yes, pa, I believe I have.” The day after her burial, her husband, who had promised to meet her in heaven, received the witness of the Spirit, and said, “I know that I am ready to meet Emma now. There is not a cloud in my way. I have heard her pray for me when she thought I was asleep, that I might meet her in heaven, and I am determined to do it.” We that are left have the blessed assurance that our mother, sister, and three brothers are singing praises to God and the Lamb.
