Louisa is possibly related to Jennie Sies who wrote a diary about her life in Oxford, Johnson County, Iowa, where the family of Cyrus Douglass were its earliest settlers. Jennie's Journal is at the University of Iowa Library Women's Archives and the connection is still being researched. |
