Louise Ward, age 92, was born in Westpointe, Ohio. She leaves us with memories to happily carry in our lives as she cares for us from above. Read More	As she climbs the precious steps to Heaven to be with her cherished daughter, Kathy Jo Lower and her beloved husband, Lester, we are sad to see her go. Louise Ward, age 92, was born in Westpointe, Ohio. She leaves us with memories to happily carry in our lives as she cares for us from above. Children, Nancy Thompson (Curtis), Sandra Moses (Thomas), Charles Ward (belated wife, Shirley), Joseph Ward (Mary) and Dr. Kimberly Ward Anderson (Richard) grieve their loss but celebrate their lives on the family farm as children learning the important lessons of life from Lester and Louise. As per her wishes, Louise did not want a Memorial Service, but wanted you to remember her only by her warm and sincere hugs as she met you in her travels. Louise worked for over twenty years at Heck's Restaurant as she continued to raise six children and help work the farm. With her love for people and wanting to put a smile on their faces through care and comfort, Louise became a nurse's aide and worked for several years at Salem Hospital. To support her love for writing, she earned a certificate for creative writing courses from Kent State University. She has left behind many of her life's memories in numerous journals for her friends and family to enjoy and from which to learn. "Across the miles and close in heart" was signed in thousands of cards as Louise's goal in life was to help others and share her love. Louise remained in her home in New Waterford. The attention, caring and sharing of love from her neighbors was immeasurable. Louise was able to stay in her home only because of the excellent care and love she received from her son, Joseph. He was her Angel on Earth and because of his excellent medical care, his daily attentiveness and especially his companionship, she was able to live her final days in her own home surrounded by the ones she loved the most. Her last unattainable goal was seeing her youngest grandchild, Zack Anderson, graduate from high school. Her front row seat will now be in Heaven. Louise is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lester and daughter, Kathy, parents, James and Violet Bell, sisters, Helen Sankovich and Thelma Hall, and brother, Jack Bell. Louise leaves behind twelve grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter, her brothers Raymond and James Bell, and so many friends that will miss her every day. The family of Louise expresses a special thank you to Dr. Mark Evans, who was much more than a doctor, but also, a very dear friend.
