Mrs. Parry was born April 2, 1922 at Clay Center, the daughter of Henry and Caroline (Gerriets) Van Hove. She was a homemaker, farmer and was a member of the Countryside United Methodist Church. She married Albert Parry on May 10, 1948 at Clay Center. He preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1995. Mrs. Parry was born April 2, 1922 at Clay Center, the daughter of Henry and Caroline (Gerriets) Van Hove. She was a homemaker, farmer and was a member of the Countryside United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Van Allen Parry; one grandson, Shane Forshee; one granddaughter, Lindy Louise Forshee; and one brother, John Van Hove. She is survived by two daughters, Josephine Wolf and Malynda Rahm, both of Enterprise; one sister-in-law, Dorthea Parry of Morganville; and one grandson, Adam Forshee of Atlanta, Ga. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 18 at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, with the Rev. Diana Stewart officiating. Respect calls may be made anytime Thursday at the Holmes-Pfeifley Funeral Home, Riley. A memorial has been established for the Enterprise Estates Nursing Center.
