For some time she had been a sufferer from that painful disease, rheumatism. Only a few short years she was permitted to live in this world and yet in that time she had endeared herself to every one with whom she had come to know and was a general favorite with all. She was naturaly religious and during her painful sickness she often expressed a desire to leave this world and go to heaven, saying that she wanted to be out of this world of pain. Who knows but the Alwise Father granted her little prayer to return and take up her abide again forever with ho redeemed and saved before the throne. She was too pure for earth. Did she die? No. "There is no death! an angel form Walks o're the earth with silent tread He bears our best loved things away And then we call them "Dead." She was an only child of Wm. and Mary Hayner and they are indeed bereft. No more will her childish prattle gladden their sad hearts here on the earth but amid the joys of that celestial world, where no tears of-sorrow ever dim the eye, may they clasp her glad form to be "Forever with the Lord. " Goodbye little heart, you was not long with us here but we shall meet again where we will never say goodbye. Where our is there will our hearts be also. Her funeral was held from the M. E. church on Saturday, April the 8th, where the Pastor preached from Luke 52. "She is not dead but sleeping" and her body laid to rest in the beautiful Cemetery of Con Rapids.
