She was born May 6, 1921, in Ottumwa to James Lawrence and Lue Edna Agee Lane. She married Leslie "Red" Ingles Oct. 12, 1956. He preceded her in death Aug. 25, 1993. She worked at Rock Island Arsenal and Jefferson Square Manor. She worked at John Morrell & Co. 13 years. She was a life member of Walter B. Surviving are daughters Cindy Ingles and Barbara Hoover and extended family Vickie Schleif and Thelma Allen, all of Ottumwa; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley McGinnis; and a brother, Bill Lane. Funeral services will be 3pm Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Diana Boughner officiating. Walter B. Schafer Post #775 of the Vetrerans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary will also conduct services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 11am Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present from 6-8pm Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society, Ottumwa, Iowa.
