Description	:	I have learned that the maiden name of Wohlsten in the obituary is likely an error. Mary Anderson Swanson (FAG memorial #21718932) is the "sister Mary" mentioned in the obituary. It is verifiable that Anderson was Mary's maiden name and there are birth records indicating they were sisters. Also both obituaries refer each other. They did have a brother who took the name Walsten when he was a member of the Swedish military and perhaps that is where the confusion originated. Obituary from the "Castle Rock Record Journal" - April 28, 1939 MRS LOUISE ANDERSON PASSES TO HER REWARD - Louise Wohlsten was born near Karlstad, Sweden October 11, 1852 where she resided until she grew to womanhood. When she was about twenty-four years of age, she moved to the northern part of Sweden, where she met and was united in marriage to Lars M. Anderson on February 26, 1877. To this union four children were born, all of whom survive. In the fall of 1880 Mr. and Mrs. Anderson immigrated to America, coming first to Columbus, Kansas, where her sister, Mary, resided. They stayed there until the spring of 1881, when they moved to Colorado, coming to Douglas County, where they resided until death claimed them. Her husband preceded her in death some seventeen years. Since his death, Mrs. Anderson has made her home with her youngest daughter, Ellen Johnson, in Castle Rock. Less than a month ago, she, accompanying the Johnson family, moved to the Cox ranch east of town. On the 11th of April, Mrs. Anderson took sick with a severe attack of influenza, from which she steadily grew worse until death relieved her of her sufferings on April 21st at ten o'clock. At the time of her death she had reached the ripe old age of eighty-six years, six months and ten days. She leaves to mourn her passing her four children: Elmer Anderson and Ellen Anderson of Castle Rock; Jennie Peterson, of Denver and Ernest Anderson of Golden Idaho, besides eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Early in life, the deceased joined the Lutheran church of which she was a life-long member. Funeral services were held at the Andrews Funeral Home on Monday afternoon, Rev. George Klichen officiating, and burial was made in the Castle Rock cemetery. The sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing relatives at this time of bereavement.
