Budweg was born May 29, 1924 to Albert and Marie (Kottke) Budweg in New Hampton, Iowa. She grew up on a farm in the New Hampton area. Read More	Louise Peters, 91, of Overland Park, KS, formerly of Hartford, SD, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Garden Terrace Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence in Overland Park. Louise M. Budweg was born May 29, 1924 to Albert and Marie (Kottke) Budweg in New Hampton, Iowa. She grew up on a farm in the New Hampton area. On February 8, 1945, she was united in marriage with Delbert Peters at New Hampton, Iowa. In 1947, the couple moved to rural Hartford, South Dakota where they lived for three years before moving into town. They were living in Hartford at the time of Delbert’s death on February 10, 1985. Louise continued to live there until 1995 when she moved to Sunnycrest Village in Sioux Falls. In 2012, she moved to Overland Park, KS to live with her daughters. Grateful for having shared her life are her daughters, Susan (Danny) Raybould of Sparks, NV; Rosemary Weisser of Lenexa, KS; and Anita Blumenthal of Merriam, KS; and four grandchildren, Alan Niewald of Las Vegas, NV; Jeanie Smith of Campbell, CA; Dax Sterner of Bellevue, NE; and Elizabeth Blumenthal of Overland Park, KS. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John and Henry Budweg; daughter, Karen Sterner; and granddaughter, Joan Niewald. Funeral services are at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 30th at Christ Lutheran Church in Hartford, SD. Interment will be at the Hartford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Westside Chapel, 6200 West 41st Street, Sioux Falls.
