Description	:	Louise M. Pearson, 90, of Shelton died of cancer Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Wood River. Louise was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Shelton to Harry and Vieretta (Lemming) Felps. On Aug. 20, 1940, she married Cecil R. Pearson in Phillipsburg, Kan. He preceded her in death. Survivors are: sons, Jon Pearson and Russel Pearson and his wife, Connie, all of Shelton; grandchildren, Leon Pearson and his wife, Stacie, of Kearney, Todd Pearson and his wife, Angie, of Alda, Jason Pearson of Wood River, Shantay Pearson of Miller and Chelsie Pearson and Chandra Pearson, both of Shelton; and eight... Read More	Louise M. Pearson, 90, of Shelton died of cancer Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Wood River. Louise was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Shelton to Harry and Vieretta (Lemming) Felps. On Aug. 20, 1940, she married Cecil R. Pearson in Phillipsburg, Kan. He preceded her in death. Survivors are: sons, Jon Pearson and Russel Pearson and his wife, Connie, all of Shelton; grandchildren, Leon Pearson and his wife, Stacie, of Kearney, Todd Pearson and his wife, Angie, of Alda, Jason Pearson of Wood River, Shantay Pearson of Miller and Chelsie Pearson and Chandra Pearson, both of Shelton; and eight great-grandchildren. Louise grew up in Shelton and graduated from Shelton High School in 1938. After high school, she began teaching in rural schools in the Shelton area. Louise and Cecil lived in the Shelton area their entire married lives. Louise was a homemaker and raised her family. Louise was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ronald and Joel Pearson; brothers, Howard "Eric" Felps and Edward Felps; and sister, Margaret Debacker.
