The cause of her death was attributed to pneumonia. Louise M. Stone was born on March 6, 1914, at Trenton, Missouri. In 1916 she moved with her parents to Beloit, Kansas. She attended grade school and high school in Beloit, graduating with the class of 1932. She taught for three terms at the district 89 school, and one term in district 55 school. On October 20, 1936, she was united in marriage to Elwyn Neff, and they made their home here. She was a friendly girl, always going out of her way to befriend someone. She gained many friends and close acquaintances through her simple kindness. She was a member of the Methodist church. She is survived by her husband, Elwyn Neff; a fourteen day old daughter, Marilyn Joyce; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stone; two sisters, Genevieve and Betty Lee; a brother, K. Morgan Stone and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 in the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Roy D. Plott, assisted by Rev. C.D. Gambriell. Burial was in the Glasco cemetery with Lott and Stine, morticians.
