Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m., May 31, at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Father Donald Thissen officiated the services. Interment followed the services in the Greenbush Cemetery. Mrs. LaForge was born November 12, 1906, in Girard, Kansas, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Koester) Meyer. On October 19, 1926, she was united in marriage to August L. LaForge. Surviving family included three sons: Robert of El Dorado, Richard of New Orleans, Louisiana and Jerry of Valley Center, Kansas. One sister, Margaret Bennett, of Girard, Kansas; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren also survive. Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado had charge of the arrangements.
