She retired from Dentsville High School where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was involved in the Women's Ministry. Mrs. Brown enjoyed camping in Maggie Valley, N.C., traveling with Christian Tours, working in her flower garden, and making arts and crafts.
