Description	:	Louise Matilda Brown, of Hastings, Nebraska (formerly of Holdrege, Nebraska), passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska. Louise was born April 7, 1916 in Phelps County, Nebraska, the third of five children born to Elmer Paul and Alice Irene (Vaughn) Isaacson. Louise attended rural country schools in the Bertrand, Nebraska area. Read More	Louise Matilda Brown, of Hastings, Nebraska (formerly of Holdrege, Nebraska), passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska. Louise was born April 7, 1916 in Phelps County, Nebraska, the third of five children born to Elmer Paul and Alice Irene (Vaughn) Isaacson. Louise attended rural country schools in the Bertrand, Nebraska area. On October 18, 1935, Louise was united in marriage to Hugh Boyd Brown and to this union five children were born: Alyce, Sharon, Aaron, Gloria and Connie. The family made their home in Elwood, Nebraska later moving to Holdrege, Nebraska in 1950s after selling the farm. Louise was employed as a Med Nurse, CMS and Med Aide at Christian Homes, Holdrege, Nebraska. Louise was an excellent baker and enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers and sewing. She also enjoyed traveling to Holland, France, England and Germany to see all the beautiful gardens. Louise especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louise enjoyed going to the Holdrege (NE.) Senior Center and especially enjoyed their Sunshine Band and Chorus. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Holdrege, Nebraska and enjoyed participating in Bible studies. Louise was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Hugh Boyd Brown; siblings and spouses: Morris Isacson in infancy, Winston and Geniveve Isaacson, June and Ray Wallmark and Florence and Rayder Ursin and grandson, Kenny Olson in 2011. Louise is survived by: children, Alyce Olson of Aurora, Colorado, Sharon Norberg and her husband, Jerry of Hastings, Nebraska, Aaron Brown of Omaha, Nebraska, Gloria Kouri and her husband, Maury of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Connie Brown of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Julie Olson of Aurora, Colorado, Chery Lipan of Lone Tree, Colorado, Michael Olson of Aurora, Colorado, Darren Norberg of Federal Way, Washington, Lori Watts and her husband, Barry of Doniphan, Nebraska, Jason Brown of Holdrege, Charity Tuttle and her husband, Andrew of Kearney, Nebraska, Sarah Kouri Davis and her husband, Brad of Des Moines, Iowa, Christopher Kouri of North Liberty, Iowa, Michael Kouri and his wife, Nadia of Coralville, Iowa; granddaughter-in-law: Sheryl Olson of Holdrege, Nebraska; 14 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Interment was in the Moses Hill Cemetery in rural Phelps County, Nebraska.
