Description	:	Louise Minnie Niehaus, age 94, of Clarksville, Iowa, was born the daughter of John and Charlotte (Schrage) Niehaus on February 3, 1919, on the family farm in Jackson Township, rural Allison. She was baptized into the Christian faith on March 20, 1919, at St. John Lutheran Church, Vilmar, Iowa, and later confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Clarksville. Louise received her education at Country Schoolhouse #11 in Jackson Township. Louise babysat for several families over the years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Clarksville. Read More	Louise Minnie Niehaus, age 94, of Clarksville, Iowa, was born the daughter of John and Charlotte (Schrage) Niehaus on February 3, 1919, on the family farm in Jackson Township, rural Allison. Louise received her education at Country Schoolhouse #11 in Jackson Township. Louise babysat for several families over the years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Clarksville. Louise was wonderful at baking. She enjoyed sewing, and flower gardening, especially growing African violets. Louise was very fond of visiting with her family and friends. Louise died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Waverly Health Center in Waverly, Iowa, from natural causes. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers (Henry, Carl, Herman, Fred, and Alfred Niehaus), two sisters (Anna Niehaus and Leona Neubauer); one nephew, Marlin Niehaus; and one great-great nephew, Blake Niehaus. Louise is survived by her sister, Esther Niehaus of Clarksville; five nephews, Dean (Carol) Niehaus of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Darwin (Sharon) Niehaus of Greene, Iowa, Ron (Jill) Niehaus of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Charles (Marilyn) Niehaus of Clarksville, Iowa and Dennis (Jeanette) Niehaus of Mason City, Iowa; 15 great nieces and nephews; 30 great-great nieces and nephews; and a great-great-great niece and a great-great-great nephew. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the Redman-Schwartz funeral Home in Clarksville, with burial in the St.John Lutheran Church, Vilmar Cemetery in rural Greene. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Clarksville, (319)278-4245, and one hour before services at the funeral home.
