As seven months ago they came simultaneously into the world to bring light and happiness into the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Betz, 1414 West Fourth street, now the twin sisters, Lucile and Louise, pretty babes with flaxen hair and laughing eyes, have made their departure together, leaving behind them darkness and gloom that is lightened only by the happy memory of the sunshine of their lives. In a beautiful white casket in the stricken home yesterday the tiny corpses, side by side, each wearing the same sweet baby smile. As they knew nothing of the joy, they brought with them, they know nothing of the sorrow which came with their departure. Bronchial pneumonia took the little ones. Little Louise died Wednesday morning. Even as she breathed her last, it was feared that Lucile could not be saved to assuage in part the grief of the parents and in spite of every effort to prolong her life the second twin passed away at 4:50 o'clock yesterday morning. The double funeral will be held at the home at 10 o'clock this morning. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. That trouble piles on trouble is indicated by the fact that another child in the family may soon have to undergo an operation for appendicitis.
