Description	:	Louise (Sanders) Ezell, 87, of Spartanburg, died Monday, January 8, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 1, 1919, in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Green Sanders and Clarice Irene (Bailey) Sanders of Union. An honor graduate of Union High School and Robinson's Business College, she earned the honor of State Champion Stenographer in 1939. She worked for the State Department in Washington, DC, during World War II as a supervisor of government records, including oversight of the fixing of the State Department seal on official government documents. Mrs. Ezell worked in the Business... Read More	Louise (Sanders) Ezell, 87, of Spartanburg, died Monday, January 8, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 1, 1919, in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Green Sanders and Clarice Irene (Bailey) Sanders of Union. An honor graduate of Union High School and Robinson's Business College, she earned the honor of State Champion Stenographer in 1939. She worked for the State Department in Washington, DC, during World War II as a supervisor of government records, including oversight of the fixing of the State Department seal on official government documents. Mrs. Ezell worked in the Business office of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg for 38 years before retiring in February 1995. She was a member of the Deborah Sunday School Class and was involved in the Women's Missionary Union and other church activities, including serving as a sponsor for the Girl's Auxiliary, Royal Ambassadors, and Cub Scouts. For many years she worked with her husband in voter registration and election day activities at Park Hills School. Survivors include her husband, Frank O. Ezell, of Skylyn Place Assisted Living; three sons, Frank O. Ezell, Jr., Robert D. Ezell and his wife Shany, and David S. Ezell, all of Spartanburg; two grandsons, Blake and Adam Ezell; and a brother, Robert Paul Sanders and his wife Betty of Lake Oswego, OR. Visitation was 12:00 noon 1:45 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2007, in the Parlor of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Funeral services followed at 2:00 PM in Davis Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Donald J. Wilton and the Rev. Sal Barone. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to the First Baptist Church, Missions Ministry, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306; or to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, c/o SRHS Foundation, Attn: Foundation Office, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
