Description	:	Louise Indish, 84, of Harrisville, died on Wednesday, Jan.11, 2012 at Munson Medical Center. She was born to Wilson and Laura (McNeil) Teeple on February 12, 1927. After graduating from Oscoda High School, she earned a three year nursing degree from Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich. Mrs. Indish worked at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich., Avon Center in Rochester, Mich. and retired from Alpena General Hospital in 1990. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed ice cream and other sweets, listening to the radio and television and her companion cat, Simon. Mrs. Indish is survived by two sons, Randy Indish of St. Clair Shores, Mich. and Rod (Dara) Indish of Mikado; two daughters, Rebecca (Chuck) Welton of Pinconning, Mich. and Ramona (Tom) Lyons of Traverse City, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; three sisters; Betty (Bob) Freer and Marlene Conklin, both of Harrisville and Linda (Emmet) Treece of Florida. She was preceded in death by one son, Rick Indish; one grandson, Timothy Indish; two sisters, Wanda Lovelace and Harriet Schrade; and one brother, Willis Teeple. The funeral was held January 14 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ossineke. The Rev. Dennis Neigh and the Rev. Barton Gray officiated. Interment will be in Springport Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to local Lions Clubs. Arrangements were handled by Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Obituary obtained from the Alcona County Review, January 18, 2012.
