Description	:	Lowell M. Werking HAGERSTOWN -- Lowell M. Werking, 86, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, in Friends Fellowship Community, where he had resided for the past two months. He was born in Hagerstown on July 27, 1920, the son of Richard and Alice Werking. He lived his entire life in the Hagerstown area. Lowell served with the Army during World War II. He was a retired employee of Perfect Circle/Dana Corp. and was a member of Hagerstown First United Methodist Church. He had been an active volunteer at Nettle Creek Senior Center and Reid Hospital. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Chester Werking, Delmar Werking, Dean Werking, HomerWerking; two sisters, Doris Anderson and Lois Razor. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Brick Cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted by William O. Frazier Post 333 American Legion. Rev. Herschel Murray will officiate. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday in Culberson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hagerstown-Jefferson Township Public Library or to Nettle Creek Senior Center.
