Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday at Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron. Rev. Neal Rippey of Sioux City officiated. Burial was in Plymouth Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation began at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Taylor was born March 19, 1898, in Akron. He married Ruth Smith on Feb. 26, 1921, in LeMars.
