He graduated from Bremerton High School in 1932, and attended Washington State College. After two and a half years, he applied for flight training, as it was his dream to be a pilot. He was born on August 26, 1912, in eastern Washington to William and Norma Tobler. He graduated from Bremerton High School in 1932, and attended Washington State College. In 1938, he married his wife, Margaret Mary Cormier of Shelton, WA, who he met before going to college. They had just celebrated their 71st anniversary. Jesse was preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence and Harry; his mother, Norma; father, William; and his daughter, Mary Louise Rettkowski. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Retired Master Sergeant Donald Tobler of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Norma Kaye of Sandy, UT; son, retired Master Sergeant William Tobler of Bear, DE; ten grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. His ashes will be Interred in Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum in East Wenatchee, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity in his memory, would be appreciated.
